Friday Foto Finder – Cuirous

It's Friday!

I have struggled all week to find an image that says ‘curious’. I have looked high and low, under chairs and under tables, tried to find the key, to fifty million fables, they call me the Seeker (whoops, too much listening to The Who)

I have chosen this image because of the curiousness that the image invokes as to what the hell you are being taken to. It was taken by me in Dehra Dun, North India in early 2009.

Stay lucky.

  1. It does indeed make me wonder what sort of monastery that is. Mindrolling? The mind boggles. .D Perfect photo for the theme.

  2. Mindrolling? That is like cheese rolling only squishier! Great choice 🙂

  3. Haha, thanks guys ^-^

It was over thirty degrees that day and the only thing that was rolling was the sweat from my brow.

And now for some bonus facts.

A large Tibetan settlement and the World’s Largest Stupa, of the re-established Mindroling Monastery from Tibet, is situated in Clement Town, which was inaugurated on 28 October 2002 and is surrounded by a 2-acre garden.
There is also a 103 feet (31 m) high statue of Buddha is dedicated to the Dalai Lama.
